Container logistics system
eVision is in the process of implementing the Container logistics system across all Noble's drilling rigs. Evision has designed special standalone systems for all drilling rigs. The drilling rig's software systems can function separately, as a standalone systems, and as one large system where all rigs are connected. This mechanism is used because of uncertainty regarding continuous internet connection, due to the mobility of the rigs.
Safety has always been a high priority for Noble Drilling. Especially on drilling rigs, many dangerous goods and explosives are used; safe shipment is of critical importance. Container Vision enables Noble Drilling to ship all goods safely, while keeping administrative overhead to an absolute minimum. The software system automatically takes care of all paperwork and legislative reporting relieving personnel of burdensome administrative tasks while keeping track of all goods, containers and rentals.
